Position: Share Point Administrator --------- (LOCALS ONLY – FACE TO FACE REQUIRED)

Location: - Asheville, NC

Duration: 9 Months

 

Our Client is looking for Share Point Administrator - Asheville, NC. This is a 9 months contract Position. The Hourly rate is DOE.

 

Required Skills:
Provide technical consulting and implementation support for a national level Microsoft Office Share Point Server (MOSS) environment to support all organizations associated with the Client program. Specific tasks to address include the following:

 
• Assess existing Windows Share Point Services (WSS) 2.0 environments used by the internal CPAC teams, prepare consolidated data hierarchy design, construct hierarchy within MOSS environment for all teams, and prepare/execute plan to migrate all content to MOSS.
• Prepare and deliver Share Point content mgmt training to all administrators of newly formed site collections within MOSS environment.
• Provide overview of environment and specific user level support training to tiered Help Desk teams.
• Assess Web form and workflow requirements for organization and utilize native Share Point features along with the InfoPath and Share Point Designer products to create software tools and user interfaces to enhance organizational effectiveness.
• Prepare design specifications, implementation plans, and support documentation and maintain all produced content within a document repository. 
• Provide on-going administrative support for the content mgmt environment; Share Point infrastructure and application support to be provided by other internal teams.
This position will work with the new SCSM (System Center Service Manager) help desk application as well as Share Point

 

Qualifications
• 3 years experience with Share Point configurations, customizations, and implementation.
• Experience building Share Point 2010 workflows utilizing Share Point Designer is a plus (Although, experience with Share Point 2007 is required).
• Minimum of 1 year of .NET development experience
• Knowledgeable and experienced in the Software Development Lifecycle.
• Understanding of project management practices.
• Microsoft operation center experience is a plus
• Strong communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation).
• Independent, self-motivated.
• Bachelor's Degree; preferably in Business, MIS, or a technical related field.
