Position : Java Consultant

Location : Southfield, MI

Duration : 11 weeks initial with a possibility of extension

Rate: $50/hr on C2C

 

Strong in at least one of the following areas

End-to-end systems architecture and design

EJB 2/3 and conversion from EJB1

Apache Struts 2 and conversion from Struts 1

Experience with Performance tuning and stability issues

Developing and managing web-services

 

Helpful skills and abilities:

Oracle PL/SQL is a plus.

WebSphere Application Server a plus.

SQLJ experience a plus.

Release management experience a plus.

DAP experience a plus.

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or related fields.

Minimum 5 years experience with Java programming.

Minimum 2 years EJB 2 experience.

Minimum 2 years experience with Apache Struts 1 & 2 and Migration from Struts 1 to 2.

Minimum 2 years experience with JavaScript.

Minimum 3 years experience with standard SQL.

Minimum 5 years experience in an IS application development environment.

Minimum 2 years experience with Web Services (JAX-WS, JAXP)

Able to communicate technical solutions/issues to a non-technical audience.

Able to create thorough program documentation, test cases & test plans.
