SENIOR INFORMATICA ARCHITECT

 

Job Description:

Seeking a bright, motivated Senior Informatica Architect to join our team.The individual will have the opportunity to work directly with business personnel across the firm including Finance, Operations, Accounting, and Risk Management, and will gain exposure to various financial products, procedures, and alternative investment strategies and concepts.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities will include the following:

·Take projects through the full data warehousing cycle from business analysis, to data modeling, development of ETL, and report development

·Establishes development standards and best practices around Informatica ETL environment, architecture patterns and governance structure to ensure they are followed.

·Work closely with different groups across the firm including Finance, Operations, Accounting, and Risk Management

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate would possess the following:

·Strong written and verbal communication abilities

·Highly knowledgeable in data warehouse concepts and technologies

·Deep hands-on experience with prominent data integration technologies including ETL, Data Replication, Change Data Capture etc

·Deep experience with Informatica design, development and performance tuning

·Inter-personal skills, analytical proficiency, and high-level of professionalism

·4 – 8 years of relevant experience in a financial services environment preferable
