Job Description:

 

We are looking for a good Powershell developer who has good experience in System Automation.

We leverage System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) and System Center Virtual Machine Manager (SCVMM) in our implementation of DataCenter deployment of our SharePoint 2010 farms.

 

There are 2 projects we have going on at this time:

Desired Service Configuration Audit

o        We have about 200 service checks ranging from Operating System configurations (Network, Disk Layout, Page Files, Services enabling)

§         For Example: Validate that TCP/IP v6 is Unbound on the NIC and provide a PASS or FAIL result

o        Available Programs or Applications Installed and Configured

o        SharePoint Farm Configuration and SQL configuration

 

Deployment Automation and Run State Servicing

1.       We are implementing datacenter deployment via ConfigMgr (System Center) task sequences and PowerShell scripts. 

2.    We have completed the first phase – functioning task sequence and scripting framework – to validate physical servers, deploy virtual servers, and configure SharePoint farms.

3.    We are looking for an experienced PowerShell scripter to help us write new scripts, and modify existing scripts to address new/enhanced functionality.

 

Do you have?

PowerShell scripting experience? 

Have you written scripts using PowerShell with SharePoint, IIS, SQL, Hyper-V, SCVMM, DFS, and other applications/roles/features? 

ConfigMgr experience?

Do you know OSD, Task Sequences, Client Management, multi-tier primary server hierarchy, log analysis?
