Sr. .Net /WPF Developer / Architect

Job Summary:
Responsible for leading design and development of large-scale enterprise class applications in trading, portfolio management, and risk analytics domains utilizing Microsoft Technologies including C#, MS.Net 4.0, WPF, WCF, Visual Studio 2010 and SQL Server 2008 and following the SCRUM software development process. Work in a globally distributed team with excellent track record on strategic initiatives within Alternative Investments IT.
Key Responsibilities:
· Complete independent technical analysis, design, development and implementation of complex software application business logic and/or user interfaces as per requirements.
· Conduct requirements analysis and design sessions.
· Develop Technical specifications and design documents.
· Understand business requirements at a team level.
· Lead code reviews and incorporate learning into work practices.
· Oversee standard development and change management methodologies are followed in the team.
· Contribute to the development of technical standards and procedures at the work group level.
· Mentor and lead junior members of the team.
· Estimation of delivery effort and managing work items for the team.
Additional Responsibilities:
Conduct problem analysis and resolution.
Practice basic characteristics of good working relationships.
Articulate and mentor concepts in approach to problem solving.
Develop domain expertise in specific technical and/or business areas.
The position involves a variety of tasks with plenty of room for growth.
Qualification Needed
MS in Computer Science or related discipline. Top schools preferred.
BS in Computer Science or related discipline with strong track record will be considered.
6-10 years of total relevant experience.
Minimum Requirements:
· Programming logic and language skills in C# / .NET Framework 3.5+.
· Strong experience with WPF, MVVM pattern.
· Test Driven Development experience.
· Unit Testing – mocking, handling static instances, singleton etc.
· Database design and SQL programming.
· Conversant in UML – Use Cases, Class Diagrams.
· Problem solving skills.
· Hard working, team player with good communication skills.
Additional Skills
Experience with Prism Framework.
WCF, WF, LINQ
Microsoft Sync Framework
Spring.NET
Finance (Capital Markets, Accounting) knowledge.
Foreign Language (e.g. German, French, Spanish) skills.
