Try Ubuntu or its KDE variant Kubuntu, it was called linux for humans, I like Kubuntu and get its latest version from http://www.kubuntu.org/
or if you like Ubuntu go to http://www.ubuntu.org/
download it or ask for free DVD or CD shipment. It is all free.
