Position: IBM Info Sphere (Information Analyzer) Architect
Start: 3/1/11
Contract Length: 2 months plus
Rate: Open, best in the industry + expenses

Responsibilities:
 
1.     Provide expert input into developing our data quality rules and processes around defining and implementing rules into IBM's Information Analyzer according to best practices for rule configuration and categorization.
2.     Assist in the back end design of a functional execution and notification approach that takes into account the identified roles and responsibilities of the associated data quality processes.
3.     Reviewing and providing feedback on the model for deploying Information Analyzer in our environments and the completed design specifications.
4.     Assist in establishing high-level security and access design for data quality rule management and monitoring for Information Analyzer. 
5.     Assist in developing data quality reports that help us create a data quality scorecard.

 
Experience:

It is important that the consultant have real-world experience with implementing Information Analyzer and using the new data quality rule monitoring feature in practice.  Our internal resources have been trained on how to build the rules and have completed the basic installation for IA.  This resource must have the experience to lead the team as an expert in best practices for using data quality rules to monitor the quality of data in Information Analyzer (or another data quality monitoring tool).
