DATA ANALYST
Location : NYC
Duration : 6+ Months

Job Description:

• Interface with business users and bridge gaps between business and IT.
• Quickly understands the business issues and data challenges of client's organization and industry.
• Elicit, analyze and validate business requirements.
• Works with business to develop strategy for single reference data hub.
• Write specifications, business processes and recommendations related to proposed solution.
• Develops functional specifications and system design specifications for client engagements.
• Works with client personnel to identify required changes.
• Communicates needed changes to development team.
• Golden sources of reference data documented in data dictionary.
• Full set of business requirements detailing the reference data needs for the business.
• Full set of functional requirements.

Qualifications: Required Skills:

• Assists in enforcement of project deadlines and schedules.
• Assists in the facilitation of team and client meetings.
• Possesses understanding in the areas of application programming, database and system design.
• Technical know-how of Database, .Net, Business Objects and Web Applications.
• Financial Industry work experience.
• 5+ years of IT experience in Business Analysis.
• Interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Critical thinking and problem solving skills.
• Organizational skills.
• University BS/BE/MCA degree required
