Our Client is looking for Application DBA – Data Warehousing in Simi valley, CA. This is a 6+ months contract. in-person interview maybe required. Locals preferred.
Qualifications
- Direct experience involved in supporting large-scaled Data Warehouse implementations
- In-depth and hands-on experience as a DBA working with Oracle 11G and/or IBM DB2
- Exceptional working knowledge in PL/SQL Tuning and SQL Tuning
- Must be able to clearly describe Database Performance Tuning methodology, approach, tools and process to a team of OBIEE developers
- Experience working in both OLTP and Data Warehouse environments
- Experience working across project teams
- Expertise in Logical & physical database modeling
- Hands-on experience in diagnosing and troubleshooting of data warehouse performance issues
- Strong and proven experience on SQL development
- Ability to research on latest database technologies
- Capable of managing responsibilities independently
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
- 4 year Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
- Master's degree preferred.
