J2EE Application Developer

Location Columbus OH

Duration: 6 Months

Rate $35/hr

Skills:

J2EE, Websphere application server, JSR 168, Struts, EJB, websphere portal, ORM Framework, workflow based experience

 

Roles and Responsibilities: • Required 8-10 years minimum experience in Java programming. Should have had responsibility working on large and medium scale software projects

• Strong programming, Object-oriented design and architecture skills.

• Experience with Source Code management techniques/ tools for software management.

• Experience with IDE's such as RAD, Eclipse or similar.

• Proven skills in Java working in J2EE standard, hands on experience with JSP, Struts, J2EE, other UI framework, and Java database framework (JDBC, iBATIS, Hibernate).

• Knowledge of relational database languages (Sybase or Oracle)

• Thorough knowledge of SDLC(Software Development Life Cycle)

• Demonstrated teamwork and ability to work with diversity of team location and background

• Familiarity with IBM Portal development, deployment & Portal technologies (JSR 168) is preferred

• Other preferred experience: AJAX, Webservices, EJB, JMS, workflow engines
