Description:
Compliance Division has a Data Warehouse to store tax information and
other relevant information to be used in creating Auditing Programs
for various taxes. The Department's vision emphasized improving our
ability to promote voluntary compliance by providing our employees
easy access to the tools and information they need.

A Data Base Administrator is needed to continue the development of
processes to load information into the Data Warehouse and establish
queries based on the criteria given by the users for producing audit
leads. The person will also provide support for business intelligence
application Business Objects which provides reports for the
compliance, collections, and data processing divisions.

The Data base administrator needs to meet the following requirements:
● Have 5 + years of experience in developing and using Business
Objects Universe Designer and Reporter tools in a repository
environment. Agency currently supports in excess of 200 Business
Objects reports. Individual must be able to maintain and enhance
reports for tax compliance activities.
● Be proficient in database design in a complex data structure
residing on Teradata version 12.0 or higher.
● Be knowledgeable in development of test plans/test records for use
in executing unit and system testing.
● Have detailed knowledge of the IBM mainframe environment (ISPF, TSO,
JCL).
● Have 5 + years of experience in complex queries to manage data from
various sources using tools appropriate with Teradata data base
administration including BTEQ, MultiLoad, FastLoad, Teradata SQL and
FastExport.
● Have basic skills to set up Microsoft Access queries via linked
tables.
● Preference will be given to candidates who demonstrate knowledge of
tax compliance program development.
● Able to complete multiple programming assignments in a timely
manner.
● Available for work at the IDR Central Office location no later than
July 1, 2011 on full-time (40 hours a week) basis.
