Job description:

 

Role: QA Test Engineer

Location: Englewood/Denver, CO

Duration: 6+ months

(Locals preferred F2F interview must)

 

Basic requirements:

 

IP Web Testiing

HTTP

Web Services

JMeter

 

Will be editing XML files

Streaming video exp not required

 

Job Description:

 

The collective list of tasks for which the Video Test Engineer resource will be responsible are:

•Assist in Writing Detailed QA Test Plans

•Execute Detailed Test Plan Activities

•Assist in the Conduct of Coverage/Scope Analysis (based on requirements and architecture documents)

•Configuration of Testing Tools (Spirent, Ixia, Shenick, Web Polygraph, JMeter)

•Test Case and Script Writing (ability to hand-develop test scripts a must)

•Regression Testing

•Integration Testing

•Functional Testing

•Performance Testing

 

Candidates must have following skill-sets

 

•Developing and executing Jmeter-based tests

•Managing test data including reading and editing of XML files through soapUI

•Planning and execution of script-driven automatic testing for regression and all other kinds of testing (functional, integration, performance and user acceptance testing) of Client hardware and software components

•Web video experience is important. Key technologies include HTTP, Apple HTTP Live (HLS), fragmented MPEG4, Microsoft Silverlight Smooth, Adobe Zeri.
