·          This position will be utilized in the creation of screens and enhancements to the existing portal site.

·          This individual must possess solid skills in front in web presentation skills including HTML, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, JSP, AJAX, XML, and JAVA.

·          Familiar with structured development methodologies

·          Experience with entire life-cycle development of web platform using Vignette and performing enhancements to existing apps.

·          RDBMS experience (prefer DB2, SQL Server, Oracle)

·          Experience with portal products portal development - preferably Vignette Application Portal 7.3/7.6

·          Strong Communication Skills

·          Designed and developed custom Grids, Styles and Secondary Pages.

·          Set up a Vignette development environment for development of new templates according to the business requirements.

·          Designed and developed JSP overrides for the content publisher and Item publisher Portlets to customize the content presentation.

·          Designed the Content Type Definitions and the Database schemas for the content of CMS applications in the Website.

·          Created CTDs

·          Designed and implemented Workflow Definitions for Website.

·          Developed JSR 286 Port let for RSS Feed using spring frame work

·          Managed Content from end to end.

·          Migrated Content from Dev Environment to QA to Production

·          Developing the Abstract Command Controller and Multi Action Controllers using Spring MVC Flow.

·          Developed the Business Commands to interact with the database using DAO's and Spring Job Template Transactions in a DAO's.

·          Defined and implemented the deployment procedure using ant scripts.

·          Involved in fixing the bugs in the custom code.
