Duration : 2-3+ months

Need Junior and Senior role

Job Description :
Client has an urgent need for an interim IT Infrastructure team for
approximately 10-12 weeks comprised of 3 engineers with a skill mix
including:
- Linux/Unix Server / Storage design and configuration
- Oracle Database, Oracle/WebLogic App Server, and (optionally) Oracle/
WebLogic SOA Suite
- IP Networking including VPN, Firewall, and XML Appliance
- Vendor management of outsourced data center service

Vendor Scope of work:
-- Perform planned critical-path activities including:
-- Through Savvis, establish new and troubleshoot existing servers,
storage, database
-- Manage already planned changes to existing infrastructure, e.g.,
Savvis change orders and additional VPN connectivity
-- Conduct high-spot review of existing Infrastructure including:
-- Existing data center and network topology / approach
-- Existing deliverables (see below)
-- Existing Infrastructure work plan and remaining build-out plans
-- Draft Infrastructure run book
-- Refine existing and complete planned deliverables to include:
-- Engaging directly with Development teams to gather/confirm
infrastructure requirements and validate final deliverables
-- Engaging directly with partner stakeholders/engineers to gather/
confirm connectivity requirements and validate final deliverables
-- Make recommendations for future architecture and operations changes
including scalability, monitoring, and availability
-- Transition work to newly hired employees
