Position: SSIS / SSAS Developers

Location: Chicago, IL

Duration: 6-12 plus Months

 

(Must interview in person for the first interview)

 

Senior SQL Developer / SSIS / SSAS

7+ years of experience in Data Modeling, Database Design, Programming, Development and Implementation of Client-Server Applications & Database systems using MSSQL 2000/2005/2008 for both OLTP (Batch Processing, Online Processing)& Data warehousing (SSIS,SSAS,SSRS) applications.

Strong technical knowledge in SQL Server BI suite (ETL, Reporting, Analytics, Dashboards) using DTS/SIS, SSAS, SSRS

Strong T-SQL experience in creating database objects like tables, Stored Procedures, DDL/DML Triggers, Views, User defined data types, Cursors and Indexes.

Involved in relational data modeling (normalization, Relations) and multi dimensional modeling using Denormalization, Fact tables, Dimension tables, Star schema for OLTP/OLAP systems.

Involved in heavy data migration/ETL activities using BCP, Data Transformation Services (DTS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) (2000/2005/2008).

Experience in SQL Server DTS and SSIS (Integration Services) package design, development, and deployment using SQL 2008 advanced features in Control flow, data flow, Error Handling and event handling.

Experience in SSIS package scripting, scheduling, monitoring, deployment and production support.

Worked on OLAP Data warehouses, Modeling, Design, cube development including KPIs, Data mining, working with changing dimensions.
