Position: Systems QA Analyst

Location: Chandler, AZ  

Duration: 6 Months

 

 

Job Classification:  Systems QA Analyst

 

Position Description:  Experience Level: Bachelor's degree plus 5-7 years related experience  

 

Minimum Qualifications: 5 to 7 years experience in the software QA and/or Development, with experience working on 3 or more projects from requirements inception to product release Experience with testing web-based applications developed in J2EE (Java) or .NET framework Strong understanding of MS SQL Server and Oracle databases and constructing/executing SQL queries Experience with backend database and data migration testing Experience with Windows and UNIX (Sun Solaris/HP) server navigation; Experience running batch commands, scheduled jobs, and reviewing output, logs, etc. on each platform. Experience with Mercury Test Management tools (Quality Center, Test Director) and ClearQuest Defect Tracking tool, or similar defect tracking tools. Ability to work in cross-functional teams across multiple levels of the organization. Ability to work independently. Ability to multi-task. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with .NET, Web !

Service Testing, and XML. Project management (ensure that ambiguity reviews, test plans, and scripts are complete and accurate and that testing is executed on-time and within budget). Process management (insure that testing is performed in a consistent and traceable manner). Familiar with test automation methodology. Experience in software development lifecycle and testing methodology. Financial Services Industry experience. Education: BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
