| This BO Data Services expert will be expected to have strong knowledge of aforementioned BO product areas, as well as, BI principles. This expert should have strong interpersonal skills and influencing skills to work effectively across various Business Unit IT teams to ensure all solution sets meet architectural environment, standards and governance, as well as achieve the BICC vision of consistent usage and deployment across business units, common architecture and framework, re-use, speed of delivery and optimal TCO. For key business unit initiatives in the BI area, this expert will set technical direction and solution architecture, using best practice BI frameworks and methods such as Data Governance, Metadata Management, Data Harmonization and Sharing. Also assist in data profiling and data quality efforts and integrate into ETL code, tuning of BO solution and ETL, and designing application security. This expert will work with the business unit IT project teams to develop cost estimates and timelines and prepare deliverables required to support approval of the BI aspects of the business unit IT Project. This expert will also define, document and promote Competency Center artifacts including governance, best practices, methodology, delivery patterns and frameworks, change management, version control and release management, etc to ensure repeatable, high-quality, cost-effective deployments of solutions. |

| This individual will have responsibility for: - Management and Troubleshooting of the SAP Business Objects (BO) platform and Data Services, Data Insight and Metadata Manager applications - Oversight of BO Integration support - Hands-on developing enterprise-class applications using Business Objects Data Services technologies, and designing and reviewing complex ETL, data cleansing, profiling and lineage processes. - BI architecture and standards, - BI Best practices & methodology for gathering, storing, analyzing, and providing access to data to enable better business decisions, BI Platform roadmap and lifecycle plans, BI Integration application/solution delivery (planning, design, delivery) including data profiling, lineage and data quality solutions and integration into ETL code. Performance tuning (reporting, ETL, etc) BI Integration platform/application support Minimum Required: -3 years experience having worked in a competency center, CoE, or shared services organization -Strong influencing skills and teamwork skills -Excellent verbal and written communication skills -Analytical abilities, strong judgment and management skills, ability to work effectively with business unit IT customers and IT Leaders. -10 years of IT experience with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the BO product areas. |
