My client is looking for Junior QA Analyst in Amarillo, TX. This is 6 – 12 months contract position, and the Hourly rate is DOE (bear in mind that the cost of living in Amarillo, TX is cheap and Texas is no-tax state). Client prefers local candidates.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must have a Bachelors degree

1-4 years of QA Analyst role, technical experience in application analysis, testing and/or support

Basic proficiency in using testing tools used in QA

Good knowledge of the major testing types comprising a test cycle including functional, integration, regression and system testing and error handling 

Building knowledge of any of the programming platforms used in IT Departments (RPG, Java, Lotus Notes, VBScript/ASP, C++)

Proficient in databases, MSWord, Excel, SQL & Lotus Notes

Knowledge of SQA project involvement, application development life cycle and methodologies
