PL/SQL Developer / Tester.  Our retail client in Columbus, OH has an opening for a contract PL/SQL Developer / Tester.  The candidate will develop, test, tune and document new and existing Oracle functions, stored procedures and packages.  He or she will also test new VB.NET applications and communicate defect details to developers.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Adhere to standards of application systems analysis, programming, and procedures
• Participate in code review process
• Participate in cross training internal associates prior to roll off
• Adhere to policies and procedures for modifying information systems
• Coordinate with technology partners including internal associates, consultants, and vendor

Required experience/skill set:
• 3 - 5 years of PL/SQL development experience (stored procedures, functions, triggers, etc.)
• 3 - 5 years of performance tuning experience
• Experience with Oracle 10g/11g environment dealing with large volumes of data
• Strong knowledge of source control
• Ability to write technical specifications to company standards
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to adapt to change

Preferred experience:
• Previous experience in VB.NET, C#, VB6
• Previous experience with JDA Intactix Suite
