Location: Detroit, MI - Need  Locals

Duration:  8-month contract

 

• Candidates MUST HAVE in depth experience with Java/J2EE development – must be able to discuss full lifecycle experience with Java Development
• Must have leadership experience with SMALL PROJECTS – not team manager, but lead experience
• Should be able to write and/or review design documents that can be followed easily by others
• Should also be willing to do actual programming as needed and detailed code reviews

 

You are a great fit if you have the following experience:

• Strong background in designing complex solutions.
• Must be proficient with design patterns and have the ability to apply them. 
• Must be able to communicate complex ideas through simple pictures to a wide variety of audiences.

 

Expectations for this position:

1. Coding complex components
2. Debugging a problem component of the system
3. Tuning an environment
4. Writing queries
5. Generating ad hoc reports.

·         Specific technologies in solution set include Java, IBM WebSphere middleware, Oracle databases

·         Strong design skills in distributed technology including Java, Oracle and client server environment.

·         Capable of defining and creating a variety of standard IT project deliverables throughout all project lifecycle phases.

 

Skills:

 

Java/J2EE

Coding complex components

Tuning an environment

UML modeling

Design Pattern experience (applying them and creation)

Integration across platforms

Oracle database experience

Debugging of code
