Job Details:

Responsibilities:
- The primary responsibilities of the Global SAP/BW Support Analyst position are to monitor the BW production job schedule, remediate failures, document and communicate failures and resolutions, and analyze patterns of failures in order to determine root cause as well as identify and implement performance improvements.
- The analyst will also assist with daily SAP/BW system administrative activities; upgrade testing and other BW processing in support of SAP project initiatives.
- In addition to support activities the position will be responsible to communicate to the global teams on support items to ensure effective sharing of the work flow.
- The individual must be motivated and self-driven to follow up on issues and proactively drive them to resolution.
- The individual may work with customers throughout the organization and will interface regularly with developers and BI Stewardship team members.

Required Skills:
• BA/BS Degree in computer science, information technology or related Certification.
• At least 3 - 5 years of development and process chain maintenance experience in SAP/BW.
• Hands-on experience with performance monitoring and tuning in SAP/BW.
• Demonstrated skills in SAP/BW technical data designs.
• Familiarity with SAP's online support resources.
• Ability to work in a global team environment and good skills in cross-team communication.
• Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting problems.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to implement and drive consistent processes and standards.

Desired Skills:
• Experience in the Business Objects product suite.
• Experience designing Business Objects Universes using the Universe Designer.
