Position: SAS Programmer (8-10 years exp)

Location: Work from Home/Remote

Duration: 6 months

 

Must Have: Good Knowledge of CDISC/SDTM

 

Primary responsibilities for this position include:

• Creating and modifying SAS programs to carry out the analytic plan.

• Statistical (e.g. SAS) programming of tables, listings, and graphs for clinical trial study reports.

• Statistical programming of analysis data sets for clinical trial study reports.

• Statistical programming of CDISC datasets from data definition tables

• Planned and exploratory statistical analysis of clinical trial data.

• Reviewing statistical output and study reports.

• QC of data displays of clinical trial data.

• Assessing feasibility of analytic plan and timeline associated with analytic plan.

• Investigating issues with the data and reporting findings back to the team.

• Documenting steps taken and validating/crosschecking results.

• Assisting in development and documentation of standard table output methods and programs

 

Requirements of the position include:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or related field. A Master's degree in statistics/biostatistics or a related field is preferred.

• SAS Certification.

• Proficiency in SAS program required through 4+ years of SAS programming experience.

• Knowledge and experience in clinical trials.

• Proficiency in Base SAS and other SAS reporting modules, experience with SAS macros and SAS STAT/GRAPH also desirable.

• Familiarity with CDISC standards.

• Familiarity with SDTM preferred

• Proficiency in relational database theory, Base SAS, SAS Graph, SAS Stat and SAS Macros.

• Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills.
