.Net Lead

Location: Somerset  NJ

Duration:6+ Months

 

This candidate needs to be a strong Tech Lead.  with ,NET, Visual Studio 2010 and Oracle 11g.

 

Overview:

The candidate will be working on a team that will be part of the USB IT team working on a rewrite of a large .NET application.

 

Requirements:

 8+ years of software development experience

 5+ years of .NET Development experience.

 2+ years of Oracle experience.

 Expertise on Visual Studio 2010, .NET 4 and MVC 3

 Expertise in using Domain/Entity Models and OR/M tools such a NHibernate or Microsoft Entity Framework

Exposure to Windows Communication Foundation and Enterprise Libraries is desirable

Must be proficient in SDLC processes

 Must be proficient in the Microsoft Office suite including MS Project and Visio tools.

 Must have good verbal and written communication skills.

 Must be able to communicate effectively with IT and business individuals and teams at all organizational levels.

 Must be a self-directed and highly motivated with an ability to manage multiple priorities.

 Must be a good team player

 Strong facilitation and presentation skills along with relationship building abilities

 Financial Services Industry Experience is a major plus.

 Microsoft Certification is a plus.

 Previous experience or knowledge of MetLife businesses / processes is a plus

 

Additional Skills: Visual Studio 2010 / .NET 4.x / MVC3 / Architecture

 

ADDITIONAL NOTES:

This candidate needs to be a strong Tech Lead.  with ,NET, Visual Studio 2010 and Oracle 11g Oracle skills CAN NOT be substituted with other database skills. 

Good oversight and architectural background Understand best practices Good process Performance Tuning and OPtimization around the database (mostly) and app is critical.

Tuning of Batch processes

Should have DB design and modeling experience Design for a future state of the system
