Need Teradata Developer

Work Location : Cupertino, CA

Duration : 6+ months

Relevant Experience (Yrs) : Atleast 5 years experience in Datawarehousing/BI with hands on expertise in Teradata

Necessary Skills :      

•               Strong experience in designing and developing large scale and optimized Data Warehouses using Teradata, Oracle and Informatica?

•               In-depth hands on experience in database, ETL/ELT design and development and should have excellent data analysis skills?

•               In-depth hands on experience in developing reporting and dashboard solutions on DW platform using multiple UI and reporting tools?

•               Experience in deploying solutions using version control systems like Subversion or CVS?- Metadata Management, Enterprise data security architecture and Data Warehouse best practices?- Project management using SDLC

•               Minimum of 5+ years strong NCR Teradata and SQL, UNIX, Data Warehouse Modeling, Teradata Utilities, Aggregates and building efficient views; other SQL and UNIX experience plus Teradata certification may be substituted for years of Teradata experience.

•               Certification in Teradata and Teradata SQL preferred.

•               Use Teradata utilities fastload, multiload, tpump to load data.

•               Write BTEQ scripts to transform data.

•               Write Fastexport scripts to export data.

•               Write, test and implement Teradata Fastload, Multiload and Bteq scripts, DML and DDL.

•               Construct Korn shell driver routines (write, test and implement UNIX scripts).
