Job Description:
Client t has an immediate opening for a Software Engineer on the Integrations Engineering Team. The Integrations Engineering Team is responsible for consulting on the integration strategy across all products within the Client product suite. The team then delivers on that strategy by developing and supporting core and custom integration solutions for clients, third-party vendors and internal product-to-product.
The Software Engineer will work closely with other team members to define and develop core integration solutions that can be implemented for all clients. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who operates well under minimal supervision and possesses excellent communication skills.
Job Responsibilities Design, develop and test new, modified or enhanced integration solutions, adhering to team standards and best practices and within the defined Agile Scrum development methodology and software design practices. Work directly with third-party vendors for scoping, design, and testing of third-party vendor integrations. Collaborates with other developers in problem resolution and testing of fixes for performance, stability and maintainability. Create and maintain documentation for the support of the Global Services Organization. Create and maintain documentation for the support of the Integration Engineering Team Work with latitude and autonomy, without considerable direction.
Additional Job Info:
In-depth experience with proven data and process integration architectures and paradigms. Proven commercial software application experience and software engineering expertise within a robust enterprise product suite. Working knowledge of Agile software development methodology using Scrum. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related discipline. 3 years of experience in software development Technical expertise and experience on the following: o 3+ years experience in Software AG web Methods 6.5, 7.x, 8.x development. o 3+ years experience using XML, XSLT, XPath, JMS. o 3+ years experience using web service specifications HTTP/HTTPS, SOAP, REST ful, Document-Literal, WS-I Standards, standard authentication models. o Working knowledge of Java / J2EE development. o 3+ years of experience developing code, troubleshoot infrastructure and application problems independently and/or in collaboration with other technical members of the team. Strong problem solving and analytical skills Strong design and coding skills and knowledge of testing methodologies and techniques Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
