Role: OBIEE Tech Lead/ Architect

Work Location: Lincolnshire, IL

Duration: 6 months+

No. of positions: 1

 

Desirable Functional Skills:

 

Total Experience Required: 8+

Preferred sourcing option: BA

 

Mandatory Technical Skills

* • Proven  skills in OBIEE architecture solution , requirement analysis, design, development, implementation, validation and project management• Expertise in Data warehousing solutions and BI Apps Finance Analytics application• Proficient in OBIEE BI Repository configuration and Report/Dashboard Development, preferably Oracle certified. • Experience in configuring  ETL mappings and DAC tasks • Knowledge of software quality requirements, validation deliverables
• Project Management Skills
• Overall ownership of architecture, design and implementation of OBIEE/ BI Apps Finance Analytics solution

• Gap Analysis,  OBIEE solution mapping , Data Modeling

• Conduct design conference room pilot sessions

• ETL and Repository design, configuration and review

• Review test plans, verify ETL, report objects and assist in bug fixing

• Review configuration for adherence to coding standards and best practices

• Prepare migration plan for SIT, UAT, Production Rollout

• Secure stakeholder approval of the documented design specification, migration plan, test plan

• Interface between the development engineers and customer business and technical staff

• Coordinate development efforts with Customer Project Manager

• Coordinate with other TCS streams to ensure quality deliverables

• Update Project manager/Delivery Lead about the overall project status and point out any changes required to be brought-in for implementation activities

• Assist the team in understanding business process related implementation issues, coordinate with various stakeholders and ensure timely closure of open action items

• Issue resolution and allocation of tasks

 

Desirable Technical Skills:

 

At least 3 large OBIEE/ BI Apps implementations. BI Apps Finance Analytics implementation experience preferred
