Responsible for configuration of various components as related to OTC clearing risk implementation
Will primarily work on ICE for credit clearing, ICE credit clearing risk experience is a MUST
Familiarity with ICE IM model for credit clearing
Will work as part of the larger risk team focused on configuring calypso end to end to deliver OTC clearing solution via calypso platform
Defines business/system requirements by facilitating user meetings and interviewing users, developing use cases, and researching and resolving issues.
Participates in business analysis project planning and management by documenting and maintaining plans, managing issue logs and preparing project documentation.
Analyzes current processes and recommends solutions and improved processes.
May also oversee the acquisition, analysis and dissemination of subject matter knowledge.
Conducts research on industry practices and standards and other benchmarking data.
Codes and maintains business application programs from user instructions or formal functional specifications.
Experience in the analysis and testing phases in the development cycle.
This role will:
Understand Trading/Operational/Risk flow setup in Calypso for OTC Clearing business and use that knowledge to configure risk aspects related to ICE OTC clearing
Be able to anticipate stakeholders requirements and articulate the objectives and priorities of the business.
Facilitate the business prioritization of feature requests and break these requests into small deliverables.
Provide documentation as necessary in the development lifecycle.
Minimum Requirements
6 to 8 years of experience in a Risk/Business/Systems analyst role.
Working knowledge of calypso ERS, ELS, Risk Config, Scheduled Tasks, Bloomberg Integration SAPI and, Market data setup (yield curves, FX curves, quotes)
Working knowledge of ICE, LCH and CME market data and trade calypso mapping process
Must be hands on calypso configuration expert and have expert knowledge of interest rate swaps (vanilla, OIS, basis, ZC), also helpful will be knowledge of FXNDF and credit default swaps (index and single names)
Working knowledge of interest rate swaps valuation, including curve structures and market conventions as well as configuration required for the process within calypso
Strong knowledge of HistSim and HistStress setup process within calypso as well as problem resolution and back test due to market data issues related to HVar and Sim
Knowledge with Derivatives trading and clearing processes from middle and back-office perspective.
Working experience with accounting setup, trade workflow, operational workflow setup in the vendor systems.
Strong understanding of the software development life cycle with previous experience in iterative development.
Previous experience with a SCRUM-like planning cycle, Use Case writing or story writing.
Demonstrated aptitude for solving problems.
SQL skills, MS Excel, and MS Word proficiency.
