Level: Exempt Professional Critical Role: Responsible for development of design specifications, software coding, debugging, unit testing and system level integration of applications of a moderate level of complexity. Key Decisions Made: • Design, code, test software application • Assure that all work performed adheres to process, timelines and quality standards • Work with limited direction on assignments • Stay current with software and industry trends Knowledge/Experience: • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems or Computer Science preferred • 1-2 years prior development experience • Proficient in Microsoft technology • Working knowledge of IT processes • Requires analytical skills and proficiency in developing structured logic • Thorough knowledge in current computer technologies: Classic ASP, Visual Basic, ASP.NET, C#, XML, Java, Microsoft SQL Server.

Project Description: Update a Python / MySQL project to include some new functionality. Then port that project over to a Microsoft technology stack using ASP.NET, C#, and Microsoft SQL Server. The current development team has little to no knowledge of the Python code and project, so this project requires a high level of independence. Required Skills: - 3+ years development experience in C# in an ASP.NET environment - 3+ years Web Application Development (HTML, JavaScript, & CSS) - 3+ years' experience with Microsoft SQL Server & T-SQL - 3+ years' experience with Python - 3+ years' experience with MySQL - Able to do system design with a little assistance from a Lead Architect - Effective oral and written communication skills, interfacing with internal peers and management. Will also interface with non-technical personnel - Analytical skills and proficiency in object oriented development - Experience with a Source Code Control system (BitBucket & Subversion preferred) - Prefer Atlanta, because the users and limited dev knowledge of the system is in Atlanta - Contract must include an option to hire
