Please let me know if you have any consultants for below job need.

 

Position: Sr Java Developer

Location: NYC

Duration: Long Term

 

Need a core java for this...

 

5-7+ years of solid experience of Java development, including JTA and JDBC.

-Experience with relational database development, including SQL. Specific experience with IBM UDB or Sybase is an advantage.

-Experience with Hibernate and  Perl

-Experience of using Unix or Linux systems, including basic shell programming.

-Good knowledge of object-orientated design techniques, preferably including knowledge of UML.

-Good verbal communication skills: ability to interact face-to-face with senior users; to argue a case on a global conference call; to make a presentation to 20 people.

-Good written communication skills: ability to write discussion documents and technical design documents for large global audiences.

-Knowledge of the following technologies is desired, but optional: XML, Eclipse, FitNesse, Syncfusion.

-Existing experience of the Securities industry in general and of clearance and settlement in particular is an advantage.
