Job Title          :  SharePoint Administrator
Location          :  Albany, NY
Duration         :  12 month
Rate                  :   $50/Hr

 

Configuring, Managing, Administering a Multi-Server SharePoint 2007 Farm, including trouble shooting performance degradation,

analyzing errors in log files and diagnosing problems. With at least 3 years experience.
Experience in designing and establishing a SharePoint intranet in a Corporate or Government agency, including the development of

standards that conform to Microsoft SharePoint 2007 best practices.
Experience in implementing OOTB features (Sites, Libraries, Lists, Content Types, Work Flows, Security, Information Management) etc. to meet users' needs.

Solid understanding of governance, change control and its implementation as it relates to an Enterprise architecture.
Experience in SharePoint "cleanup" such as identifying orphaned items and unused Content Databases and migration of top-level sites to sub-sites and vice versa. 

Experience with Disaster Recovery Planning as it relates to a multi server SharePoint 2007 farm.
Capacity planning for SQL storage requirements.
Environment knowledge of Windows 2003 and Window 2008 Enterprise Server, SQL Server 2005 and 2008, and Active Directory.
Ability to interact with a wide-variety of users to gather business requirements.
Strong leadership and teamwork skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
