[Outsource:0] Oracle EBS DBA, Missouri

Do you have anyone who might fit the attached Oracle EBS DBA description, for a brief (aprox. 40 hour) assessment, tentatively scheduled to begin on January 20th? This person can reside anywhere, but must be able to travel to Missouri for the project.

Oracle EBS DBA

Senior EBS DBA capable of performing onsite assessments to examine architecture, integration points and transaction flow following industry best practices.

This role will query customer about the number of users, size of databases, modules in their “Oracle footprint,” and nature of third-party interfaces. This role will then illustrate the best hardware configuration for the client, clarifying which instances should reside on which servers and what equipment modifications may be need.

Working with our Chief Architect, this Oracle EBS DBA will assist in providing the following:

Identification of top value opportunity areas enabled by an upgrade.

Mapping of key value enablers against value opportunities.

Definition of high-level project charter and actions plans (roadmap) for upgrade.

Creation of foundation for subsequent in-depth scoping and benefit targeting.

Skills / Attributes Required

Proven Oracle Database Administration experience.

Experience of managing multiple RDBMS on large systems

Experience of working in a team that delivers a high availability service.

Practical experience in monitoring and tuning a database to provide a high availability service.

Experience of other database systems, preferably SQL Server

Practical experience in managing the internal and external MS SQL database security
