Immediate Interview

 

Title: Loadrunner Tester

Location: Jacksonville FL

Duration: 2+ Months

 

POSITION OBJECTIVES:  This position requires an employee to have strong load / performance testing skills in HP LoadRunner.  In addition to load testing, this role will require manual test execution and planning.

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS: 

·         Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Equivalent  preferred

·         3+ years of experience using HP LoadRunner including the Web, Client/Server, & Database protocols

·         Ability to write comprehensive  Performance Test Plans

·         Creation and execution of load and performance tests based on customer workflow scenarios using LoadRunner

·         Good hands-on experience in customizing and troubleshooting scripts on VuGen.  (NOT just record & playback of scripts)

·         Experience capturing dynamic data at run time

·         Use of LoadRunner Service & Utility functions, ANSI C functions knowledge of setting parameter values for a given situation

·         Error handling experience

·         Thorough understanding of Run-Time settings and Recording options.

·         Understanding of common errors encountered during load and performance testing

·         Installation and configuration of LoadRunner Controllers, Load Generator

·         Sitescope monitoring

·         Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

·         Requirements Traceability knowledge/experience;  Test plan / Test case creation and execution;  Defect tracking

·         Strong knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL

 

NICE TO HAVE:

·         HP Quick Test Pro (QTP) experience is a BIG plus

·         Experience with HP Quality Center 10.0

·         HP Certifications
