Position: Quality Assurance Manager

Duration: 1 Year

Rate: Open (DOE)

 

Description:

 

·         Our Client is looking for a Quality Assurance Manager with 3+ years experience as a manager of software testing professionals of 10 or more people

·         Creating and fostering an environment of teamwork, open communications, ownership and accountability
Ensuring SDLC artifact completion and HIPAA & Sarbanes-Oxley compliance

·         Primary contact for all QA requests/issues/questions

·         Set team direction and strategy with QA Director

·         Coordinate overall testing activities with UAT, Vendors and Partners

·         Eight or more years of experience in software testing, including several years of hands on testing preferably in a complex distributed J2EE environment.

·         Familiarity with QA tools such as: Quality Center, PVCS, Requisite Pro

·         Experience with automated regression testing is a plus/QTP/LoadRunner

·         Knowledge of SQL, XML, XML Schema, UNIX, JAVA technologies experience

·         Familiarity with the health insurance industry and Medicare concepts desired

·         Demonstrated success hiring, coaching, mentoring and evaluating software development professionals

·         Experiences with career management (including training assessment, training planning & execution and career path/planning), performance appraisals and compensation management
