Title: SSIS DEVELOPER with AB Initio experience
Location: Jacksonville FL
Duration: 6-12  Months
 
Must have both SSIS and Ab Initio.  They do dashboards in this group
 
Looking for experienced SSIS developer to create ETL packages to support our scorecarding application and metric design. Needs to have some AB Initio skills as well.  Will be asked to code in Ab initio 25% of the time and SSIS 75% of the time.
 
TASKS:
Builds SSIS ETL packages based on business processing rules and database mapping documents
Works closely with system analysts and other developers to work items (change requests, enhancements)
Communicates with team members to provide: status of project work, project estimates, and completion time estimates
Ensures ETL code is built according to design, specifications, SLAs
Raises critical issues to technical lead
 
SKILLS:
Strong experience with ETL methodologies
Strong experience with Visual Studio (BIDS) 2005/2008 and all components
Strong experience with data flow, data enrichment, transformations
Strong understanding of database concepts (indexes, stored procedures, referential integrity, keys, metadata)
Strong understanding of reporting structures and design (Kimball methodologies, star schemas, facts)
Good SQL and database skills
