Position: UI Developer
Location: Los Angeles, CA
Duration: 6-12 Months
Job Description:
Work closely with cross-department teams to assure a consistent User Experience across all assets.·
Improve website and application usability through the use of AJAX and advanced JavaScript functionality.·
Establish and maintain HTML/CSS/JS standards documentation·
Ensure compliance with published coding standards·
Identify areas for front end code improvements·
Evaluate existing user interfaces and design improvements.·
Identify opportunities to improve the usability of customer interactions.·
Ensure all company branding standards are being met·
Define and implement design criteria, guidelines, and specs; illustrate experience with industry standards and corporate visual design guidelines·
Understand the importance of documentation and coding standards·
QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years working in the development of HTML, CSS and JavaScript·
5+ years in front end development for cross browser websites and online applications·
Solid foundation working in Adobe Photoshop·
Expert level knowledge of AJAX·
Exceptional communication skills·
Good leadership and interpersonal skills, Detail-oriented·
Comfortable in a fast-pace environment with the ability to manage multiple projects at one time·
In depth experience working with and extending JavaScript Frameworks such as: jQuery, MooTools, Prototype, ETC.)·
Experience working on large, complex sites and online applications·
Online portfolio with a range of interactive samples·
