Job Title: Java Technical Lead or Architect

Location: Pleasanton, CA

Duration: 6 Months+

Skills:

At least 10 year of IT experience.

•         5+ years of defining & realizing end-to-end Solution Architecture for large & complex systems

•         2+ years of experience in SOA definition and realization

•         5+years of exposure to Java, J2EE and SOA technologies including web services, messaging, IBM-WebSphere, Apache CXF/Axis/JBoss, SCA, BPEL, Security

•         Experience developing architectural approach to meet key business objectives

•         Work with business owners, analysts, solution engineers, development teams and infrastructure services to communicate application and data architectures

•         Working knowledge of SOAP, REST, WSDL and WS-* standards.

•         Working knowledge of at least one application server (JBoss / WebSphere server)

•         At least one year of experience in using any of the IBM SOA tools/products, WPS, WMB, WESB & Rule engine

•         Strong experience in at least one RDBMS (Oracle | DB2 | MySQL)

•         Proficient in UNIX/Linux environments

•         Hands on experience in using Maven, JUnit, JProfiler/JProbe

•         Experience in OOAD, UML & design patterns

•         Experience developing architectural diagrams using RSA and other tools to illustrate architectural complexities and interactions.

•         Exposure to source code versioning systems like CVS/SVN

•         Experience working in Agile | Scrum methodologies

•         Ensure project successfully implements the designed solution following

•         Conduct analysis and proof-of-concepts for new technologies/solutions
