Title: Lead Java Developer

Location: Wilmington, DE

Length: 1 Year+

 

- 5+ years of HTML and CSS experience with the ability to hand-code

- 5+ years' experience with web standards and CSS-driven layouts

- Thorough understanding of cross-browser and platform compatibility issues

- Strong knowledge of AJAX, including DOM scripting and object-oriented JavaScript coding, is a must

 

Responsible for the definition, design, construction, integration, testing, and support of reliable and reusable software solutions, addressing business opportunities.  Includes systems analysis, creation of specifications, coding, testing, and implementation of application programs and data interfaces.

Requires a previous domain of experience in applications development.  Responsible for overall application design, including interfaces with other applications and systems.  Assures that application designs are consistent with industry best practices application attributes (including scalability, availability, maintainability, and flexibility).

 

Basic Qualifications:

- At least 8 years of experience in application development (hands on coding)

- At least  one year of Agile development

- At least one year as a technical lead or architect

 

Related Experience:

----------------------------

- Developed applications using JavaScript, Velocity, Java, J2EE, Spring Webflows, Web Services, and Oracle.

- Participated in technical design, development, modification, and implementation of computer applications using existing and emerging technology platforms.

- Architected, designed and developed (hands on development not management) complex integrated systems

- Demonstrated technical and thought leadership

- Agile Scrum Adherent and Advocate

- Experienced in architecting frontend and backend systems for resiliency, reliability, and performance a plus
