Job Description:

Must Have Skills	Java/J2EE, SOA/Web Services, Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, Unix
Must Have Skills	XML, XSLT, Servlets and JSP technologies, HTML, JavaScript
Must Have Skills	Apache HTTP Server, BEA Weblogic, BEA AquaLogic ESB and DSP

 

Skills:

7-10 years of software development experience

3 to 5 years  of application architecture modeling and software design experience

Experience handling large scale datacenter migrations

Superior ability to clearly document complicated technical environments & concepts

Software release management and source control experience

Strong understanding of 3 tier architecture (web, app & DB) supporting online applications

Capable of trouble shooting complex issues across multiple platforms

Ability to manage multiple technical issues in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment

Expert knowledge of the following technologies:  Java/J2EE, SOA/Web Services, Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, Unix

Experience with XML, XSLT, Servlets and JSP technologies, HTML, JavaScript

Knowledge of Apache HTTP Server, BEA Weblogic, BEA AquaLogic ESB and DSP

Experience developing modular applications using Object-Oriented methodologies, and Design Patterns

Experience with high-level functional design using a variety of tools including use cases, class and sequence diagrams, textual requirements

Understanding and appreciation of change/release management processes and procedures including source control software

Ability to troubleshoot and pinpoint problems in a transaction based system

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform technical analysis based on requirements to establish architecture approach and create detailed design in support of the requirements

Document logical and deployment architecture and be the one point of contact from the application development organization to drive the migration from AOL to Savvis

Perform incident and problem resolution
