Role:

Responsible for teaching the Scrum process to the team and stakeholders for the project. Build self-organizing teams by encouraging and empowering the team to find the best way to get things done. Protect the team from distractions by removing impediments at all levels. Encourage the team to build re-useable elements and use engineering best practices with continuous integration, TDD, automated testing, etc.

Responsibilities:

• Protect the team from distractions by removing impediments at all levels of management.
• Provide an atmosphere that encourages self-organization within the team.
• Encourage the team to build re-useable elements and use engineering best practices with continuous integration, TDD, automated testing, etc.
• Work closely with the Product Owner team to ensure requirements overall align with sprint, release, and product goals.
• Build cross-functional skills by challenging the team to select stories that may be out of their comfort zone.
• Coach/Train teams on SCRUM and Agile methodology including PMF (Program Management Framework) within processes.
• Facilitate the Daily call, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective.
• Work with the Product Owner team to measure and report team financials to the appropriate parties.
• Represent the team to report project status and risks for the CMI/Governance process.
• Highlight team success within and outside the team.
• Assist the Product Owner team to continually keep a sufficient set of stories defined and estimated.
