Job Description:

 

This hire will be working for AI Finance IT team.  The group needs to recruit a office development specialist  to meet the requirements for strategic initiatives to cater various user needs based on MS Office suite of technologies.

 

This hire will be responsible for:
 - Office Business Application(OBA) Development
 - OBA integration with SharePoint
 - Workflow implementation using OBAs 

 

Responsibilities:

The candidate will report to Project Manager and participate in the design and implementation of Office(OBAs) and SharePoint application design and development. 

 

Additional responsibilities include:
- Participate and assist in application design using office technologies
- Participate in entire SDLC process
- Understand the business requirement and functional spec and translate to technical solutions
- Deliver end-product as required in the spec or instructed by Tech Manager/BA and perform unit testing to ensure the quality of the codes
- Create and maintain Deployment/ Release documentation. Participate in the release schedules.
- Provide production support and maintain existing systems by researching and trouble-shooting any issues/problems
- Document the requirements and technical design as required
- Maintain constant communication with other team members, technical manager and the team in Offshore

 

Qualifications:

-  • At least 5 years of application development experience in .NET, C#, and MS Office technologies.
• Proven and stable employment  record.

At least 5 years of combined experience developing  MS Office based applications, and web applications .  
• At least 3 years experience in developing MS Office based applications using VSTO, C#. Prior experience in VBA development will be an added advantage.
• Experience in Office Business Applications(OBAs) integration with SharePoint.
• Experience in developing web based and SharePoint applications.
• Experience in working with SharePoint  web services and Excel Services
• Good exposure to OOAD, SOA and design patterns.
•  Ability/familiarity to create workflows using OBAs and SharePoint.
• Must have been exposed to full SDLC process
• Ability to research and trouble-shoot application problems
• Highly motivated team player
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
