We are in urgent need of Embedded Developers:

Location: San Jose, CA
Duration: 6 Months+
Skills:

• BS in EE, CS, or similar technical discipline.

• Experience working in complex, large-scale multimedia and/or embedded systems projects for the cable, satellite, or IP TV industry/Set Top Box.

• 7 or more years of embedded software development, including Linux device drivers. At least 3 years in multi-threaded multi-media applications.

• In-depth knowledge of C. Strong C++ skills.

• Experience in various media codec technologies, including MPEG2, H.264, VC1/WMV, and ASF.

• Media transmission standards such as ATSC, DVB and SCTE.

• Design and implementation of hardware abstraction layers.

• Strong communication skills for both internal and partner interaction.

• Integration of third-party hardware and software into a complete system.
