Position: Oracle MDM

Location: Columbus, OH

Duration: 12 months

 

Roles & Responsibilities:

Identify and recommend ideal data model for Product Data Hub integration project. Lead business user sessions to gather requirements to come up with canonical product data model

Design and develop data architectures

Propose and establish standards and best practices for data model and corresponding transformation.

Provide recommendation on canonical data model use with the application of Oracle AIA Foundation Pack

Provide appropriate mapping from and to canonical data model to PDH and ERP Order module data model.

Maintain data mapping artifacts between PDH and EBS order modules

The Data Architect will work closely with the Users, systems designers and the developers on Product Data Hub Project team to come up with Book Publication Industry relevant Enterprise wide Product Data Architecture (Items, BOMs etc.).

The candidate will need to be able to address issues of Data Migration (Validation, Clean-up and Mapping), and will need to understand the importance of Data Dictionaries and canonical data models

 

Necessary Skills:

 

Data architecture and canonical model of product information.

Good knowledge of Oracle PIM 12.0 or Product Data Hub 12.0 Data Layer architecture.

Good knowledge of ERP 11.5.10 Data Architecture.

Rich experience of coming up with Canonical Data Model related to Product information

Ability to evaluate and make recommendations regarding data integrity

 

 

Desired Skills

 

A working back ground in Book Publishing Industry is an added advantage.

Extensive experience in XML, XSLT, and XSD and relational database modeling

Basic understanding of Oracle SOA Suite tools

Basic knowledge of AIA FP and  preferably good idea of PDH PIP2.5 for integration between PDH and ERP system

Working knowledge of ETL/ELT tools such as Oracle Data Integrator and Informatica.

Basic understanding of how canonical models can be used in above tools in SOA environment.

Basic understanding of data feed structure in book publishing industry like ONIX standard

Some prior experience in versioning and management of canonical data models

Some experience in data services platform tools such as ODSI
