The role description is as follows:

 

Assist the Data Migration Group (DMG) in defining the data maintenance and governance processes in support of a streamlined OTC process using  ECC, SAP CRM Service management, SAP MDM, and the ASAP methodology.  Specific activities would include:

 

•       Organize and facilitate / conduct data process workshops focused on defining the end-to-end customer master data / Business Partner creation / maintenance processes to enable a successful          implementation and provide a framework for ongoing governance.  Workshops would be focused on gaining cross-functional alignment around the business and transactional stage gates required to create and maintain the customer master data elements in support of relevant business processes, analytic requirements, and compliance needs. 

•       Ensure the customer master data process definitions clearly define the central master data management function (process steps, roles, fields, governance rqmts, authorizations, and timings), as well any preceding and downstream process steps and functions (with similar information captured).

•       Perform data mapping (field-level) into the customer master data processes to support transactional requirements and enable both the supported business processes and analytic requirements.  Field-level mapping would identify field ownership, governance requirements, analytical impacts, and provide organizational alignment (for both maintenance and governance).

•       Identify and catalog relevant data migration and/or data governance business rules and ensure alignment with the data migration effort, as well as the ongoing governance model.

•       Assist the DMG team with the solution design and business architecture required to successful implement the relevant system components (SVM, MDM, and ECC modifications).

•       Functional hands on experience with MDM

•       Develop required change management components regarding the data processes and data governance model in support of the streamlined OTC process and conduct training sessions as appropriate.
