Position: Peoplesoft Upgrade
Location: Chicago IL
Duration: 6+ months
Rate: Open

PeopleSoft Upgrade
Client will be upgrading from PeopleSoft 8.8 Financials and Supply Chain (FSCM) to PeopleSoft 9.1 Financials and Supply Chain (FSCM). Client is currently on PeopleTools release 8.51.04 so a PeopleTools upgrade, other than applying the latest patches, will not be necessary.

Client actively uses the flowing FSCM modules:
* Purchasing
* Accounts Payable
* General Ledger
* Asset Management
* Accounts Receivable
* Billing

To complete the upgrade Client is looking for resources with the following skill sets:

Position 1:
Functional Resource:
- Completed at least two 8.8 to 9.x Application upgrades (with at least one for a financial services company).
- The ideal resource would be a functional expert in all of the PeopleSoft modules that Client currently uses.
- Must be able to "see" the large picture quickly and effectively. Client is looking for someone who is familiar with real world accounting practices and can "translate" them effectively in to a solution that utilizes delivered PeopleSoft functionality. Client is looking to remove as much customization currently in the system as possible so being able to look at those customizations and fit them into delivered PeopleSoft functionality is of particular interest.
- This resource should be an expert at taking requirements and creating general and detailed designs along with the creation of configuration guides.
- After the requirements and design phase this resource will need to be able to assist in designing a test plan and in the creation of test scripts.
- Should know PeopleSoft's record structure and have a fair amount of PSQuery experience.
- Deep nVision skills are a must.

Position 2: Technical/Infrastructure Resource:

- Completed at least two 8.8 to 9.x Application & Tools upgrades.
- Must be completely comfortable working with the Change Assistant tool and organizing/ executing the mechanics of an upgrade.
- Should be able to build out new PeopleSoft Environments with relative ease (Dev, Test, etc).
- Must have Microsoft SQL Server experience.
- In addition to the infrastructure skills this resource should also be a developer that can tackle any development tasks in Application Designer (including PeopleCode & Application Engine) and should have experience with SQR and Crystal Reports. Integration Broker skills would be a plus.
- This resource should have experience taking requirements and completing general and detailed designs along with unit test scripts.
