Position: Jr. C/C++ Developer with Embedded System
12 Months Contract
Rate: $25/hr - $30/hr
We are looking for a software/firmware engineer with embedded programming interest and/or experience. Software engineers will be responsible for analyzing requirements, design, development, and unit testing of C/C++ embedded applications. This person must be self-motivated and a team player. Person must possess good interpersonal and communication skills.
Detailed Requirements:
- BS in Computer Science / Engineering or related experience
- 2 years of design / development of Object Oriented Software
- Strong C++ skills required
- Strong problem solving capability
- Experience with development in the full software lifecycle
- Experience developing software for Linux-based systems
- Experience working with/developing web services is desirable
- Embedded development experience is a plus
- Experience with software debuggers
- Experience with GNU development tools (g++, ld, make, etc.) is desirable
- Experience with SCM system(s) (svn, cvs, git, hg, etc) is desirable
- Experience with JavaScript/HTML is desirable
- Working knowledge of XML and XML Schema is a plus
- Experience with scripting languages (perl, python, ruby, etc) is a plus
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree preferred
1+ year experience with Linux
3+ years experience with C
3+ years experience with C++
Experience with Actionscript (Flash), XML, PHP, and CSS
2+ years experience with HTML
2+ years experience with JavaScript
