Position: Sr. Java Developer

Location: VA.

Duration: 6+ months

 

- The Development resource will upgrade critical OS, Middleware, and Database components for multiple applications to vendor supported versions.
- Upgrade the middleware to Weblogic 10.3.3, Tomcat 6, WebMethods 8.0, Apache 2.2.15
- Facilitate Upgrade of databases to DB2 9.7, Sybase 15.0.2, SQL Server 2008, Oracle 11g
- Reduce operational and security risk by upgrading applications to vendor support versions and by resolving commonly exploited security vulnerabilities.
 
- Strong development skills with JDK, J2EE, Weblogic, ANT, Basic UNIX
- Working knowledge with UDB, Sybase, SQL Server, Oracle
 - Individual needs to be able to work independently with minimum direction
