REQUIREMENT:

 

Location: Chicago, IL

Position Name: Data Warehouse - Report Developer

Rate: $/hr All Incl

Desired Start Date: ASAP                    

Anticipated End Date: 6/30/2011

Job Description:

Responsible for the development Cognos 8 Reports, Dashboards and enhancements to existing reports.  Effort will include working with team members and customers to define and document requirements and develop reports and dashboards based on discovery.  Candidate will develop reports based on current standards and best practice.  Candidate will be responsible documenting reports as part of the effort.

Skills Required:

• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology with at least 5 years of related work experience.
• Proficient in Cognos 8.x, Cognos 10.x, Dashboard Reporting, Standard Reporting, Report Optimization, Cognos SDK JAVA development, Strong Transact SQL (MS SQL Server).
• Proven experience in playing a lead role on application teams.
• Good problem solving and debugging skills
• Effective written and verbal communication skills as well as analytical ability. 
• Working knowledge of Cognos Framework Manager. 
• BIRT experience highly preferred
