Position: ETL developer
Location: Nashville, TN
Duration: 6 Months

Currently we are searching for an ETL Developer to fulfill an immediate vacancy.
This individual will be responsible for assisting a small team in developing and enterprise data warehouse for a medium size organization.
We are actively speaking with applicants that have a minimum of:
" Working knowledge of all phases of data warehouse development lifecycle, from gathering requirements to testing, implementation, and support.
" Strong leader with experience training developers and advising technical groups on ETL best practices.
" Demonstrated expertise utilizing ETL tools, including SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), Data Transformation Services (DTS), and DataStage and ETL package design, and SQL Server RDBMS.
" Working knowledge of Visual Studio 2005 and 2008.
" Design and construct large ETL maps, workflows etc.. Integrate new data with existing warehouse structure and continuously improve how the system functions.
" Design and code the ETL Administration processes, ETL maps to enable initial load and incremental processing, error and exception handling, restart ability and recovery, data cleansing, validation and
monitoring
" Analyze, design, build and support current and new data feeds from various data sources to the data warehouse.
" Work with the current Data Warehouse data model, extending and improving it for flexibility, performance and accuracy
" Model and design data marts or Cubes to meet specific department reporting needs.
" Create Entity Relationship models to capture business concepts.
" Create Metadata mapping for technical and process data lineage reporting.
" Work closely with the Report Analysts, Data Warehouse Administrator, SQL Server DBA, Business System Analysts and Project Managers.
" Bachelor's degree or Equivalent work experience.
" Technology Skills & Knowledge of ER Data modeling and concepts
" Best practices for common ETL design techniques such as change data capture, key generation and optimization.
" Fluency in SQL Server 2000,2005, 2008, and 2008 R2.
" Capable of capturing and modeling complex business cases in terms of tables and relationships.
" Capable of converting a relational data model to a dimensional one.
" Capable of designing maps for flexibility and performance
" Knowledge of Partitioning Tables.
" Extract, Transform and Load Coding (ETL).
" Experience with data quality, data profiling, metadata management and reporting
" Understand database concepts of referential integrity, indexes and keys and table metadata
" Ability to query source and target databases for unit testing
" Working knowledge of data modeling is preferred
Work Experience:
" Minimum 6 years experience with data warehousing and database programming or equivalent.
" Extensive experience with SQL Server Database (2000,2005,2008, 2008 R2).
" Experience with database architecture.
" Extensive Experience with SSIS, SSAS, and SSRS.
" Extensive experience with Visual Studios 2005 and 2008.
