Title: SAP ABAP Consultant

Location: Winston Salem, NC

Duration: 5 months

Start date – ASAP

Max rate: $52/hr CTC or 1099 all inclusive

Resource should be ready to work in a smoking environment.

We are looking for candidates with the flexibility to work weekends as required (we are in that mode leading up to integration testing), have experience working with the off-shore/on-shore development model, and who understand that this role is primarily a technical specification/testing/coordination role, not a hands-on development role.

On-Site ABAP

• Writing of technical specifications based on functional specifications
• Clarification of requirements with the on-site functional consultants and customer on behalf of the off-shore team
• Coordination with off-shore team lead for development work
• Technical testing of developments from off-shore team
• Troubleshooting of any technical errors encountered during integration testing; may need to modify development objects for urgent bug fixes
• Ideal skills: familiarity and experience with ABAP programming with the following modules: FI/CO, MM, PP, SD, ideally on 4.7 and ECC 6; user exit experience, particularly in SD; interface experience, particularly EDI; experience working on-site directly with customers; experience coordinating with off-shore resources; data migration programming experience; ABAP report skills
• Additional skills which would be desirable: java programming skills in an SAP environment; experience with APO; experience with BW; experience with Informatica; experience with Tidal (job scheduler); experience with upgrade projects
