Role: Senior .net Developer (C#) w/Consumer Packaged Goods Co's exp.

Location: Somers, NY

Length: 4+ months

The selected candidate needs a strong (5-6 year) background in .net application development with a specific recent focus on Web development/integration & architecture. Please note that the selected candidate MUST be able to drive clarity on business process & the definition of requirements.

The development environment includes: .net, C#, C++, SQL, Sybase, Unix Shell Scripts, Weblogic, Java, J2EE, Apache, Perl and MQ Series.

Activities will include:
- Gathering requirements, designing, building and testing.
- Partnering with teams in BIS Corporate Systems and Emerging Services to accurately interpret requirements for release enhancements.
- Design, Develop and Test application release.
- Participate in peer reviews, code reviews, test plan reviews and document test cases and results.
- Provide technical suggestions and alternatives to enhance user experience within the parameters of the requirements.

Required Skills:
- 3+ yrs .NET development in C# 
- C++
- 2 years of hands-on SQL development in Sybase
- UNIX, K-Shell scripting (ksh)
- Weblogic 
- CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods)experience
- Production/Manufacturing experience is a plus!
- Good communication skills required! Must be able to drive clarity on business process & requirements.

Desires Skills:
- Java/J2EE
- Apache
- Perl
- MQSeries

Key Skills:

Sr. .net developer (FULL SDLC) - C#, C++, SQL, Sybase, Unix Shell Scripts, Weblogic; any experience with (Java, J2EE, Apache, Perl and MQ Series are a plus!)
